1. Purpose of SportsApp

SportsApp is an educational platform designed to connect parents, coaches, officials, and athletes with sports experts, organisations, and learning resources. Our mission is to promote education, personal growth, and community development through sport.

 

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
Users under 18 may only use SportsApp under the supervision of a parent, guardian, or school representative who manages their account and consents to their participation.

 

3. Accounts and Registration

To access certain features of SportsApp, you may need to create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
     

  • Keep your login details confidential and secure.
     

  • Accept full responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
     

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are used for unlawful, misleading, or harmful activity.

 

4. Use of the Platform

You agree to use SportsApp only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with its purpose.


You must not:

  • Copy, reproduce, distribute, or exploit any part of the app for commercial purposes without permission.
     

  • Upload, share, or transmit harmful, offensive, or misleading content.
     

  • Attempt to hack, modify, or interfere with the operation of the app or its servers.
     

We may remove content or restrict access to users who breach these Terms.

 

5. Educational Content and Third-Party Material

SportsApp provides access to webinars, courses, and materials from trusted experts and organisations.
While we strive to ensure accuracy and quality, we do not guarantee that all content is error-free, complete, or up to date.
Any opinions or advice expressed by third-party contributors are their own and not necessarily endorsed by SportsApp.

SportsApp may include links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of these external sites.

 

6. Webinars and Online Events

When you engage with online webinars or live events hosted through SportsApp, we may require your email address to enable participation, registration, or follow-up communication with experts.
An email sign-up may occur through a third-party platform such as Zoom, Google Meet, or similar providers.

By registering for a webinar, you understand that your participation information (such as your name and email) is managed under the policies of that third-party provider. If you wish to be removed from a mailing list or future communications, you must contact the provider of the online webinar directly as per their mailing list or data management procedures.

Even when you connect with content, SportsApp does not share or distribute your personal details to experts, organisations, or third parties unless we have your explicit consent.

 

7. Intellectual Property

All content within SportsApp—including text, videos, graphics, and materials—is approved and provided by the experts, partners, and sport service providers we engage with.
These contributors retain ownership of their own content, logos, trademarks, and intellectual property rights.

SportsApp does not post or publish any material, branding, or intellectual property without the consent or agreement of the relevant expert or organisation.
You may access and use the content for personal, non-commercial educational purposes only. You may not reproduce, modify, or redistribute SportsApp content without written permission from the content owner.

 

8. Engagements Outside SportsApp

SportsApp may connect users with experts, organisations, or third-party programs.
All sign-ups, bookings, or engagements that occur outside the SportsApp platform are direct agreements between you and the relevant provider.

SportsApp is not responsible or liable for any injury, loss, damage, cost, or claim arising from such external engagements, events, programs, or communications.
Users should review the third party’s own terms and conditions before participating.

 

9. Limitation of Liability

SportsApp provides educational and informational content only.
We make no guarantees regarding outcomes, performance improvement, or suitability for a specific purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SportsApp and its affiliates are not liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from:

  • The use or inability to use the app or its content.
     

  • Reliance on information provided by experts or third parties.
     

  • Technical issues, interruptions, or unauthorised access to your account


 

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to SportsApp without notice if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, misused the platform, or engaged in unlawful activity.

You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your access to the app and data will cease in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

 

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our operations, features, or applicable laws.
When changes occur, we will update the “Last updated” date and post the revised version within the app.
Continued use of SportsApp after updates means you accept the revised Terms.

 

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Victoria, Australia.
Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
